1. Hackathon will start on Feb 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM and end on Feb 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM, you need to work on your hack during the allotted time only.
  2. It is a physical hackathon of 24 hrs, the venue is Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions, Junwani Road, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh 490020.
  3. This is a team participation hackathon. Each team must consist of 3 to 5 members with an optional mentor. Only undergraduate/graduate students from accredited university can participate in the event. All the team members must be from the same Institution.
  4. Accommodation will be provided separately for boys and girls in respective hostels along with food coupons from 13th feb 2018 evening to 15th feb 2018 evening.
  5. College ID card is compulsory for each member of the team failure of which can even lead to disqualification of the entire team.
  6. You need to come with your own laptops and all the softwares required and if at all you need a desktop then you need to inform the organizers beforehand only so that we can arrange one for your team.
  7. You are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas, any idea that has been copied from somewhere will be disqualified.
  8. Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc.
  9. The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.
  10. Problem statements will be released 10 days before the event date and if at all problem statements doesn’t match your skills then any new ideas from your side is also welcomed but for that intimation to the organizers is to be done.
  11. Technical resources will be provided to the teams but for that prior information for the same has to be given to the organizers.
  12. Intellectual property (IP) of the idea would belong to the college/institute and the team members jointly. However, team members will make their product available for free for the government institution for which they are working.
  13. High speed internet connection will be provided on the spot via LAN.
